Position: Sales Representative

Are you interested in a sales opportunity that will have you targeting people that oversee mid-large sized facilities with a need to address the technology associated with their security systems? You will be prospecting and closing organizations that that need to control the entry of employees and visitors in and out of their facilities at all times. You must have a hunter mindset and be very quota driven. You also need to have previous experience selling complex and expensive solutions along with an affinity for technology since you will be selling equipment that integrates with video surveillance, visitor management, and ID systems. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prospecting and cold calling Facilities/Property Managers, Building Owners, Superintendents, Security and IT Directors, as well as Business Administration staff
  • Monitor and report all sales activities via Salesforce.com and Profit 21
  • Define security gaps during live presentations and walk-throughs
  • Put together full scope of work for qualified prospects
  • Participate in ongoing sales training/coaching 

Job requirements:

Candidates must meet or exceed the following job requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in sales.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Be able to neatly document sales calls and activities.
  • Experience in the security industry – experience in access control and CCTV 
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.

Experience:

  • Proven track-record of hitting quota through cold prospecting
  • Previous phone and in-person sales experience
  • Previous B2B experience closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous CRM experience (salesforce.com is preferred)
  • Previous experience selling into one or more of the target industries would be a huge plus
